CalMac's summer timetable 2024 now available to view
CalMac is reminding customers that the summer 2024 timetables will be available to view on its website from 2pm today (Thursday 11 January). Bookings and advanced purchase up to 30 September will then open to the public in three sections, with phase one routes expected to open for bookings on 18 January, phase two on 23 January, and phase three on 12 February.
The timetables will initially be published for the period 29 March – 30 September, while timetables from 1 – 20 October will be published once vessel deployment plans for the annual overhaul schedule for the winter 2024/25 period are confirmed.
However, due to infrastructure works taking place at Kennacraig and Port Askaig during 2024, work continues to finalise Kennacraig-Islay and Oban-Colonsay timetables. As these timetables are not finalised, they are not yet available to view, and we are engaging with impacted communities on this.
Pauline Blackshaw, Director of Strategy and Change at CalMac, said: “I am pleased to confirm that summer timetables are now available, and I would like to thank our customers, communities and businesses for their patience.
“Timetables from 1 – 20 October will be published once deployment plans for our annual overhaul schedule for the winter 2024/25 period are confirmed. We are also working hard to finalise timetables for Islay and Colonsay and will update our customers and local communities as soon as we are able to do so.
“Launching our timetables on a phased basis allows us to share information with our customers so that they can begin planning and allows us to open bookings as quickly as possible. I would like to extend my thanks to our customers for their support.”
The CalMac website has a full customer update regarding the summer timetable and further updates will be posted there: https://www.calmac.co.uk/customer-updates/summer-2024-timetables
