Complaints process

All formal complaints will be acknowledged within five working days of receipt and replied to within 21 working days of its acknowledgement. If it is not possible to respond fully to your complaint within 21 working days, you will be informed in writing at that point of the reasons for delay and the likely timescale for a resolution.

Print and Online

Caledonian MacBrayne is delighted to offer you an exciting advertising opportunity within three of our publications - Journey, Winter Timetable and our Summer Timetable.

Journey is our main publication and a fantastic planning tool to those preparing to travel to the Clyde and Hebridean islands. Plus, accommodation providers advertising in Journey will get a FREE online advert in our accommodation listings on this website.

Our Winter Timetable provides commuters and tourists with up to date sailing times, prices and ticket options for planning their journey to the islands we serve during our winter season.

Our Summer Timetable will be printed and contain the same information for those travelling during the summer months.

Please note
All CalMac advertising within our brochures/timetables and also in our ports and on board vessels is currently suspended pending the outcome of an ongoing review. We don't envisage advertising to be opened back up again until late 2021. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Filming request

Thank you for contacting CalMac Ferries regarding obtaining permission to film on board the ferries or at the ports we serve.

Please complete the form below, on completion we will then obtain authorisation from the relevent departments. All filming requests must be submitted using the form below.

It is important that you plan ahead and allow plenty of time between submitting your application and the date of your planned event or activity. 7 days notice should be given from submitting your application to date of travel. In certain circumstances we will allow last minute request but this will be at the Port Manager and/or Master's discretion.

You must arrange your own bookings for travel and we cannot cover the cost of any travel.
