Gaelic Language Plan

Importance of Gaelic language and culture

We are proud of our long association with, and service to, the Gaelic communities of Scotland. The Gaelic Language (Scotland) Act of 2005 and the early work of Bòrd na Gàidhlig have given a new impetus to the language and culture.

We are currently working on an updated Gaelic Language Plan, which will set out how we aim to play our part and make a worthy contribution.
